Mission Statement

It is my mission and it is also my duty to work with all members of the legislature to produce and enact legislatiion that will enhance the lives of our citizens and provide our Commonwealth with a stable fiscal base from which to operate.  There are many elements in this broad mission statement, and everything cannot be undertaken at once.  But in the outset I shall be working to achieve the main goals I set forth during the campaign: 

- Re-establishment of a retirement system for the next Generation of government employees, and to ensure that its funds are secured for the retirees and not used for other purposes.
- Transforming our Commonwealth Health Center in to the state-of-the-art hospital that it was designed to be, eventually eliminating the need of off-island referrals
- Achieving transparency in government with financial records open for public scrutiny.
- Establishing Youth Centers with programs for healthy developments of the minds and bodies of our young people.  They are our future.  

In summary, it is my hope that, working together, we can achieve a true Commonwealth-a government in which power is in the hands of the people serves the common good of the people.
